麗莎是一位將學習貫穿于自己生命的求知者。在過去的30年間，她一直在大學學習或工作。大學期間，她曾在資助辦公室工作，對金融行業和其中的職業規劃路徑極其熟悉。在耶魯大學獲得學士學位后，她意識到學術界才是她真正的歸宿，隨后麗莎繼續了她的名校學術生涯。麗莎在哈佛商學院以貝克學者的身份取得了工商管理碩士和博士學位。

同時在升學指導方面，麗莎非常有經驗，她特別善于指導學生的選校和確定申請方向，熱衷于幫助學生在選定目標后全力以赴去實現夢想的學校。麗莎在很多高等院校有校園教學及線上教學經驗，并參加了本校與康奈爾大學、波士頓大學等眾多名校的合作項目，同時在大學擔任領導職位。這一切使她對美國的眾多名校有非常透徹的了解。她不僅為學生們設計升學教育規劃，同時為他們的職業生涯做長遠規劃，是學生們非常難得的人生導師。

A lifelong learner, Lisa Klein Pearo has been either attending or working at a university for the past 30 years straight. After earning her Bachelors in Economics from Yale, where she was named valedictorian for the Social Sciences, Lisa had her first inkling that academia was her true calling. But she made a couple of stops along the way to gather some experience in management consulting, direct marketing, e-commerce, and publishing. At Harvard Business School, Lisa earned her MBA as a Baker Scholar. She then finally answered her calling, returning a few years later for her DBA in Marketing. Upon graduation with her doctorate, Lisa embarked on an academic career that brought her to teach on ground and online for many highly ranked universities, working with graduate and doctoral business students and eventually moving into university leadership positions. Her experiences include working with graduate students at Rice University, Cornell University, Tulane University, Butler University, Boston University and the University of Maryland, among others.

During this decades-long grand tour, Lisa has moved across the U.S. and back and now resides in Boston. Lisa enjoys working as an alumni advisor for Harvard Business School iLab start-ups. She also serves as co-chair of the Boston region for Circles, the new HBS Women’s Alumni organization. On weekends, she enjoys glamping in a lux RV, which has taken her across the mountains and coastal towns up and down the East coast.

Lisa’s areas of expertise include social sciences or humanities, languages, business, and math. She worked in the endowment office during college and is very familiar with interests and careers in finance. She was also involved in student government and theater in both high school and college.

Lisa is passionate about helping students identify schools where they can fulfill their ambitions. Her involvement with a number of highly ranked programs (including MBA programs) has given her a wealth knowledge about the nation’s top schools. Lisa enjoys drawing on these experiences and insights to help students build their path to the next step in their education and their careers. Lisa has experience working with students who have special needs and is able to work with students who are experiencing mental health issues, using accommodations, or needing some insights on extra supports outside academic advising.
